Unfortunately gentlereader.blogspot.com was taken already. I couldn't decide between gentilelettrice or gentilelettore (after all, everyone's welcome), so that's how I ended up with gentilelett. I know it's clumsy. I'm sorry.

Hello,
My name is Ashley, and I was doing research on genealogy, and my great grandmothers name was Mary Seline, Brinton. Your blog came up because of the intials on a used book you discuss, called Mary S. Brinton. THis is so strange, as its taken me a long time to find any information on her, but I wonder if maybe this might be her. You say there is her name in the book, do you have any photographs of the signature. Please email if you get a chance. Also where did you find the book, she was born in Alabama.
Hello Ashley,
I bought the book at Unnameable Books on Vanderbilt Avenue in Brooklyn. I'm on vacation now so I don't have the volume at hand, but I'll post a picture of the signature when I get back in August. Good luck with your research!
